Responsibilities and tasks

The primary responsibilities are the development of ongoing customer relationships and for
the achievement of Sales (Order Intake) targets. The individual will be responsible of directing
and controlling all facets of the sales and contractual process to meet identified customer
needs whilst ensuring the objectives of the company’s sales strategy are met.

The role includes but is not limited to:

- Proactive development of business opportunities and account management of both
medium and large scale customers by identifying, qualifying and securing new
development projects in the onshore wind turbine market within the UK market.
- Responsible for meeting sales targets and achieving customer satisfaction targets
- Build effective relationships with the support functions during all elements of the sales
cycle thus ensuring sales success with the customer base
- Identify opportunities to maximise profit and shareholder value
- Manage expectations of clients/stakeholders at every stage of the sales cycle
- Review and evaluate contract process to ensure achievement of delivery plan
- Ultimate responsibility for tenders and quotations
- Build and maintain Customer Account Plans and accountable for accurately
forecasting the projects contained within the sales pipeline.

Qualifications and work experience

- Have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- A decision maker

On a professional level you are/have:

- A bachelors degree in a relevant technical or commercial discipline
- Minimum of 5 years working with a sales driven commercial environment would be
preferable
- Strong knowledge about large scale value added sales and solution selling
- Familiarity with the typical terms and conditions of very high value
engineering/construction contracts and tenders preferable
- Project management experience
- Excellent communication skills
