Deputy Manager

Our client is looking for a Deputy Manager to join there team. You will need to have some management experience as either a deputy manager or lead nurse.

Working closly with the Manager. The home provides residential care, nursing and residential dementia care, convalescence, respite and palliative care.

This is an amazing opportunity for a skilled and confident individual to lead a Nursing & Care Team within an Elderly with Dementia Nursing Home Environment.

The Role:

Other previous roles that may be suitable would include Unit Manager, Loneadministration, Senior Sister, Deputy Nursing Home Manager, Care Manager, Lead Nurse.

50+ Bed home with General nursing, Dementia and Elderly.

40 hours a week, approximately half of this supernumerary and half on the floor.

The role will involve the following:

- Staff Management, Appraisals, Training, Rotas Etc
- Inspirational Leadership & Lead by Example
- Internal Audits on Care Plans & Medications amongst others
- General Nursing Duties
- Administration & Management Duties
- Marketing & Promotion of the Home
- Dealing with Patients and Patient Families

The Candidate:

- You will be a registered RMN or RGN preferably with Dementia Experience.
- You will be an Experienced Unit Manager or Team Supervisor Equivalent.
- Strong Manager or Supervisor with excellent Leadership Skills
- Recruitment, & Staff Management Skills, including Appraisals, Training etc.
- A passion to build and develop a caring and successful Nursing Home Team.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Up-to-date General Nursing Skills.
- All Candidates will be subject to a Criminal Record Disclosure and checks against the POVA List.
