Part Time Secretary (contract)

Part-Time Secretary urgently required to work 25 hours a week for a market leading law firm in Leeds.  You will be required to provide secretarial/administrative support to the Group Heads of IT and the managers that report to them. Duties

  • To provide administration support to Mobile Services
  • To provide secretarial/administrative support to the Group Heads of Applications, Infrastructure and Service.
  • Administration of the IT Change Management process, including minutes of the weekly meetings
  • To manage the overtime budget for IT department.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Business Infrastructure and Head of IT when PA is on holiday/sickness.
  • Organising couriers (daily), stock taking, initializing activcards, wiping of blackberries and mobile phones, amalgamation of spreadsheets (monthly) and ad hoc admin requests.
  • Arrange travel and hotel accommodation
  • To maintain diaries, including booking appointments and arranging meetings.
  • Producing an agenda, minute taking and collating information.
  • To assist with the organisation of conferences for IT department.

Skills & Experience

  • To be competent in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Have good organisational skills.
  • Be approachable/personable.
  • Team player Confident & clear telephone manner
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to see a delegated task through from start to completion.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and by written communication Have good interpersonal skills
