Organisation Description

My client is a leading supplier within the hospitality sector.

Job Description
• To provide full back up and be the main H.O. contact for the Business Development Manager – Middle East.
• To work closely with the VPIA to ensure that all matters are dealt with quickly and professionally.
• To ensure that all clients are given all relevant information on a timely basis.
• To ensure that all complaints / enquiries from clients are dealt with in a speedy and professional manner.
• To ensure that all client projects are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
• To liaise with Regional offices in Frankfurt and Dubai on all client issues.
• To liaise with the Purchasing Coordinator to ensure that client stocks are adequate at all times.
• To liaise with the Marketing Executive with regard to requirements for the client Business.
• To liaise with distribution companies in all aspects of the warehousing and distribution of client’s products.
• To attend (when required) client conferences, meetings and exhibitions.
• Handle all requests for samples as quickly as possible.
• To liaise with the Purchasing Coordinator to ensure that stocks are kept at an adequate level.
• To discuss and plan the disposal of “Slow Moving Stock” each month.
• Identify shipping / customs documentation and ensure that the relevant parties produce the correct documentation in a timely manner.
• Handle and coordinate “New Hotel Openings” with all (internal & external) parties concerned.
• To assist the “BDM – Middle East” in all aspects of business within the Middle East Markets, in addition to assisting the VPIA with all aspects of business in the Indian Sub Continent and South America.
• To assist in sales training when required.

Person Specification

- Experience working in export and import
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office
- Experience in international clients is desirable
- Strong administration skills
- Experience in the hospitality sector is desirable
