Shares Advisor – Based in Asda House

Role Description & Purpose of this role/team:
The Shares team is a small team responsible for administering and managing the different share plans offered to ASDA colleagues. We make up part of the Reward team within the People Division. We work closely with external sharesave providers and the Walmart Global Equity Team. The purpose of this role is to facilitate the provision of ASDA’s share plans as part of the wider colleague reward and benefits package.
Role responsibilities:
- Share plan administration and answering colleague queries
- Maintain relationships with external advisors, banks and stockbrokers
- Administration of Executive share options
- Involvement in the launch and maturity of ASDA Sharesave
- Working closely with the Walmart Global Equity team
Role requirements (Essential Skills):
- Confidentiality
- A sound administrative background
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly telephone manner
- Good inter-personal skills and confident dealing with colleagues at all levels
- Attention to detail
- A good level of PC literacy, including Word and Excel
- Displays strong planning and organisational skills
